Howdy, folks. I thought I'd attempt a little blog to keep those who want to know in the know.
We found out on July 10th that we are parents! I was actually taking a pregnancy test (I was way too emotional that day and knew something was up) when my friend called and I got distracted. I walked back in the bathroom later (still on the phone) and saw the results. Needless to say, I didn't hear much of the rest of the conversation. After hanging up, I double checked and then tried to figure out how I was going to manage to make it until Kyle got home from work to share the news with him!
We had our 8 week check-up on August 5th and they say that Little Baby Truman is due March 19th. I don't think the baby is quite as old as they do, but we shall see.
Our 12 week appointment is September 2nd. We should be able to hear the heartbeat and may have our first sonogram then too.
I am doing okay--just super tired all the time and quite sick most mornings (into early afternoon). Kyle is doing an amazing job (of course!) of taking care of me and putting up with his uncharacteristically emotional and ditsy wife.
So far we haven't decided if we're going to find out if Baby Truman is a boy or girl. We'll keep you updated.

I'm so happy, I'm crying for you! it's so exciting. I think you should definitely find out if it's a boy or a girl as there will be tons of other surprises that you will get with the baby. personality, appearance, who he or she looks like, It makes it so much easier to prepare when you know if it's a boy or a girl. plus everything is so much fun to buy for a baby. I think You'll have a boy!
